Every year at least 30 million sheep and lambs are dipped in a chemical bath to control sheep scab and fly strike. Now there are growing worries that the active chemical in sheep dip is causing unpleasant side effects in shepherds; and the National Rivers Authority is worried about the pollution potential of sheep dip.
