World Symposium of Choral Music Everythree years, amateur and professional choirs from all over the world gather together for a week of concerts and workshops, and this August the venue was Minneapolis-St Paul in Minnesota - one of the choral "hot-spots" of North
America. In the first of three programmes from the Symposium, Paul Guinery introduces Americafest, where massed voices from the USA joined forces to welcome their international guests, who in turn raised the roof with items from their own singing traditions - including Latvia,
Australia, Finland and the Czech Republic.
