The Cat-Game
A tragicomedy by ISTVAN ORKENY translated from the Hungarian by MARl KUTTNA with Coral Browne , Joan Miller and Margaret Rawlings
Istvan Orkeny is one of Hungary's leading contemporary writers. The Cat-Game, which achieved great success when it was performed in a Budapest theatre and which received its first performance in English on Radio 3 last July, has since been staged with great success in London. It is a bitter-sweet comedy in which two elderly ladies are involved in a series of emotional upheavals about love, food and the past.
Adapted for radio and produced by MARTIN ESSLIN
