In April next year a new State pension scheme will be introduced. All employers have to consult their employees on whether to take part in this scheme, or to ' contract out' and make their own provision for pensions.
This special programme explains the options and tackles the queries : How will the state scheme work? What are the costs and benefits of a company scheme? How will the state of the British economy affect the pensions of all of us?
