Following a casual encounter in a bar the night before, a young couple, John and Mary, wake up in John's New York apartment to find that, although they've spent the night together, they do not know each other and are extremely wary of involvement. This contemporary love story from British director Peter Yates is filmed almost entirely on location in New York.
