Afternoon Play: All of You on the Good Earth

On Christmas Eve,1968, the Apollo 8 mission, the first manned flight to the moon, orbited ten times. In this play, the spacecraft's progress is followed obsessively by 11-year-old astronaut enthusiast Neil O'Brien who becomes increasingly engrossed in the mission as he tries to block out the family problems that look set to ruin Christmas - and the space mission - for him.
