From the Victoria and Albert Museum, London, a matinée musicale re-creating one of the famous concerts hosted by Rossini in Paris in the 1850s. Singers Katarina Karneus (soprano) and William Dazeley (baritone) are joined by pianists Artur Pizarro and lain Burnside for a concert of surprise works by Mozart, Chopin, Liszt and Rossini himself, including excerpts from his witty Sins of Old Age.
