Drama starring Tamzin Outhwaite, which focuses on the activities of a Special Investigation Branch team based in Germany who are called in after a British corporal being chased for speeding down the autobahn attempts suicide. New team member Jo and her colleagues, however, soon find themselves embroiled in a dark and complex case.

The last time we saw Tamzin Outhwaite outside of Albert Square, she was frolicking with dolphins in Florida. Well, life can't always be swimwear and glamour, so for this new drama she changes into uniform to play a sergeant in the Military Police's Special Investigation Branch stationed in Germany.
Jo McDonagh is one of those tough women desperate to prove themselves in a male-oriented world. But it's trying to accept Outhwaite as this monosyllabic, uncompromising character that is so hard. Her male colleagues are all horrible to her, of course. If they're not making passes, they're talking about her behind her back, slagging her off to her face or ignoring her. You see, not only is she a woman but she's our old friend "the maverick". She has a dark secret, but she gets results where the mere men don't.
There is an explanation offered by McDonagh as to why she joined the army that probably sums up the whole concept of this drama. When younger, she wanted to be Linda Hamilton in the Arnol
