Christ Church, Hengrove, from which the People's Service will be broadcast on the Sundays in June, stands on the outskirts of Bristol. It is a modern church, built just before the war to serve the needs of a rapidly expanding new housing area. The Vicar, the Rev. John Radford. came to Hengrove three years ago after serving as an Army chaplain.
