Reginald Arkell
A personal commentary by a West Countryman in London on things and people he has observed during the last month
Reginald Arkell is a novdist, dramatist, and journalist... Earlier this month, on August 9 and 10, Green Fingers, a radio revue based on his humorous book of the same name, was broadcast with great success. Until the outbreak of the war he was on the staff of London Opinion, and since then he has written many musical comedies and revues, including librettos and lyrics for stage shows such as Kingdom for a Cow, Gay Deceivers, 1066 and All That, Listeners' Inn, Blue Train, and Frasquita. In 1933 he wrote, in more serious vein, a life of Richard Jefferies.
