RUDYARD KIPUNG recorded his impressions of New Zealand in a short story published when he visited the country in 1891. Harry Ricketts , a lecturer in English at Victoria University of Wellington, recently re-discovered the story
Our Lady at Wairakei, and compares Kipling's predictions about the country with the present reality.
