' local celebrities, seamen and wives, and presents a Bristol star, Randolph Sutton , under the direction of Leslie Bridgmont. In London, Doris Hare is in charge as usual, with Debroy. Semers and his Orchestra.' In both places the BBC runs a party for the Merchant Navy and their guests, women of the Services. Presented by Howard Thomas.
