Reminiscences of the late Lord Rhondda by his daughter, the Viscountess Rhondda
In her talk today Viscountess Rhondda, Editor of Time and Tide, will .deal in particular with that period in the life of her father, the late Lord Rhondda, when he became Britain's Food Controller and made so important a contribution towards the welfare of Britain at thaf critical, time. She will compare 1918 with 1939 and will describe briefly the eight months from June, 1917 to February, 1918, during which the whole subject of rationing was being considered by the Food Ministry with great anxiety for everyone concerned as to how it would turn out.
