Mr. EMILE LITTLER: Recent Impressions of New York '

on Regional Programme Midland

View in Radio Times

Mr. Littler has paid a dozen visits to the States.
His theatrical discoveries there included plays he afterwards put on at the Birmingham Repertory Theatre-the temperance melodrama, Ten Nights in a Baf-room, and the Hollywood satire, Once in a Lifetime. He fitted up a studio at the Repertory for the broadcasting of plays for Midland Regional. His New York talk is the first of a series of three on impressions of U.S.A.
