Bellamy Rides Again: The Human Race

on BBC One London

Last of six programmes examining the elemental cycles vital to life.

Having examined the earth's life-support systems, David Bellamy turns his attention to the human beings who depend upon them. Every new person born into the world, he argues, increases demand on the cycles of life and unless we find some way of limiting population growth, we are in danger of overloading a delicately balanced system - and that may eventually bring about our own extinction.

Book: Cycles of Life, price £2.50, is available from [address removed].
