Vernon Bartlett 's memories of Geneva span the years from the brilliant opening ceremony in 1920 of the first of all the Assemblies of the League of Nations. Now he is back for the latest conference of the great powers, and tonight, on his sixtieth birthday, in a broadcast from Geneva, he recalls some of the outstanding men and events associated with the city's special role as a forum for world affairs.
