Performance on 3

on BBC Radio 3

1999 Edinburgh International Festival Geoffrey Baskerville and James MacMillan introduce the first complete performance of James MacMillan 's Triduum given at the festival. This epic trilogy of works was inspired by Easter: The World's Ransoming focuses on Maundy Thursday; the Cello Concerto focuses on Good Friday; and the Symphony- a powerful journey from darkness to light - celebrates the Easter Vigil.
