The Love for Three Oranges
A performance of Prokofiev's opera produced by Peter Ustinov and given last year at the Bolshoi Theatre,
Moscow. Based on a tale by Carlo Gozzi , the plot concerns a prince who is dying of melancholy until he is cured after laughing at the witch Fata Morgana. She curses him to fall in love with three oranges. Sung in Russian.
