An appeal on behalf of THE HAVANT HOSPITAL by CHRISTOPHER STONE , D.S.O., M.C.
This small but much-needed hospital serves a wide area in the Portsmouth and Hayling Island district, and is called upon to deal with many road accidents, and many holiday casualties for which no payment is ever recovered.
The buildings have been brought completely up to date, but there is a debt still outstanding of £1,300 on the building itself for providing a very necessary children's ward. The people of Havant have founded and equipped the hospital, and this is the first time that they have appealed for outside help.
Contributions will be gratefully acknowledged, and should be addressed to Christopher Stone , Esq., D.S.O., M.C., [address removed]
