A Song Cycle by LIZA LEHMANN.
This performance is specially produced to commemorate the death (eight years ago on this date) of this well-known modern composer. The Song Cycle was Liza Lchmann 's first great success, and was arranged round Edward Fitzgerald 's famous translation of the " Rubaiyat " of Omar Khayyam.
