Murder in the Cathedral. On the eve of the anniversary of the martyrdom of St Thomas Beckett ,
Jeremy Summerly is joined by Mary Berry to introduce Gregorian chant from
Canterbury Cathedral, including the so-called Unfinished Vespers, which monks sang as the knights burst into the cathedral and murdered Beckett on 29 December 1170.
