SYDNEY HOWARD in 'Household Hints'-3 *

on National Programme Daventry

View in Radio Times

During Sydney Howard's recent visit to South Africa he and his wife stayed with Gracie Fields at Sea Point when she was paying her return visit to Capetown the week before she sailed for home. ' It was a grand reunion', he. says. 'Sea Point is a lovely spot. We took each other's pictures, signed each other's autograph books.'
Tonight in the third of his six solo broadcasts he is to talk about gardening, and no doubt C. H. Middlcton will listen and have many a laugh. But Sydney Howard can be serious about flowers as is indicated on page 1 2.
