Advertising executive Andrew Fell discovers, on Christmas Eve, that his ex-lover has committed suicide. His obsession with her death leads him to the first link in a cover-upof food double dealings, and into danger for himself and his family. Writer David Pirie and director Ben Bolt worked together on the wartime thriller Never Come Back. Edge of Darkness star Bob Peck also stars in An Ungentlemanly Act, a drama to be shown on BBC2 in June, while Sharon Duce is currently in the BBC1 series Growing Pains on Saturday evenings.
