A farmer in a cornfield is in more danger of being attacked by a pumpkin than a swimmer is of being attacked by an octopus.'
Mr. Lane, author of The Kingdom of the Octopus, disagrees with this opinion. From a study of the macabre experiences of frogmen and swimmers, he has concluded that octopuses are more dangerous than pumpkins.
