Jonathan Dove 's new comic opera, written to a libretto by playwright April de Angelis, in its world premiere production by Richard Jones for
Glyndebourne Touring Opera. The work is set in an airport lounge, where various passengers and crew, subject to one of those almost inevitable airport delays, all prove to have hang-ups of various kinds.
There is even a refugee for whom the airport has become home. By the end, when all but the refugee are finally on board, the conflicts have been resolved.
