Edinburgh Military Tattoo

on BBC One London

The 60th anniversary of the D-Day landings and the 300th anniversary of Gibraltar as a British colony are marked in this year's vibrant display of music, dance and military pageantry at Edinburgh Castle. The massed bands of the Royal Air Force are joined on the floodlit esplanade by a wealth of international performers, including the South
African Navy band, Estonian gymnasts from Club Piruett, India's Cheraw Dancers and a much-anticipated parade by the People's Liberation Army of China band on their first visit to the UK. Tom Fleming commentates.
