On December 23, 1935, Colonel Lindbergh and his family left America for England to obtain privacy after the unwelcome publicity which had surrounded them during the trial of Hauptmann for the kidnapping and murder of the Lindbergh baby. This afternoon, in an interview with Alistair Cooke , Jack Bell , London Correspondent of the New York Herald Tribune, will discuss the rise of the gangster in the United States and the successive efforts made by the Federal Government to deal with it.
