Play School: Useful Box Day

on BBC Two England

A programme for children at home.
Presenters this week, Ann Morrish, Brian Cant
In the story chair, Mabel Wheeler

Do you remember this week's storyteller, Mabel Wheeler? On her recent visit to Play School she told three traditional fairy tales and this week she returns with some traditional Scottish stories.
There are lots of different houses in Play School this week. The poem each day is about 'The Crooked Man in the Crooked House' and on Tuesday Brian and Ann make a house for the toys out of blocks. There is a game of drawing animal houses on Wednesday, and on Thursday Brian tries to make a house out of a pack of cards.
Do you know how a jelly is made? On Friday Brian and Ann show how to make one and explain how it sets.
