Introduced by Desmond Lynam.
Championship Boxing: Scotland's former WBO strawweight champion Paul Weir looks to capture his second world title tonight as he takes on South Africa's Paul Oulden for the vacant WBO junior flyweight crown in Irvine, Scotland. Also Drew Docherty defends his British bantamweight title against Dewsbury's Adey Benton.
Amateur Boxing Action from the international match between England and the USA at the Hilton Hotel in London. The match comprises eight bouts with England expected to be led by light-welterweight Peter Richardson - a Commonwealth Games gold medallist this summer. The two teams have not met at senior level since when England won 7-5 at Leeds.
Cricket: A preview of the first Test between England and Australia which begins in Brisbane on Friday. This is England's first step towards retaining the Ashes. Heavy defeats in the last three series against Australia make England the underdogs - but they were given little hope in Australia in 1986/87 and still returned with the Ashes. On that tour England won the first Test at Brisbane by seven wickets.
Football: A round-up of tonight's action in the FA Premiership.
