In London this morning, HM the Queen lays her wreath of red Flanders poppies at the Cenotaph on behalf of the nation, in memory of those who laid down their lives in two world wars. Eric Robson describes the scene, live, as members of the Royal Family, as well as men and women from all walks of life gather in Whitehall on this first
Remembrance Sunday since the end of the Gulf War. At the Cenotaph, the Bishop of London, the Rt Rev and Rt Hon David Hope , conducts a short act of worship. The morning ends with a march past by the Royal British Legion and ex-servicemen and women.
