The Samaritans will answer any call for help. When there is no one to talk to, nowhere to go, a telephone call can mean the difference between life or death.
Jack has seen the Samaritan poster in the post office. He is alone in London and only 17. Most boys can take their problems to their parents. Unfortunately Jack's parents are his problem.
