In the first of two programmes,
Hilary Finch explores the recordings in the BBC archives by the great Spanish lyric soprano, including a studio recital from 1969 with songs by Faure, Ravel and Toldra, and part of a concert from 1957 in which she sang Berlioz's Les Nuits d'EtG with the BBCSO conducted by Rudolf Schwarz.
