A six-part series that looks over the scientific horizon to confront the moral questions of the 21st century.
In this first programme presenter Michael Buerk discusses with a panel what it would be like if people could buy and sell their memories or even forget what it is like to forget. The panel includes John Browning of Wired magazine, neuroscientist Professor Susan Greenfield, writer Rosalind Miles, Peter Stanford, a Catholic commentator on moral issues, and Professor Sheila McLean, a pioneer in medical ethics.
Also featuring science-fiction writer Michael Marshall-Smith's hypothetical visions of the future.
