Series of five programmes 4: School Concern Project
In Salford, a venture uniting the Education Department and the Community Service
Volunteers is well under way. Inspired by the work some schoolchildren had done in creating aids for the handicapped, the project has explored the possibilities of making this work part of the school curriculum, and the mutual benefits to be derived by both handicapped and able-bodied alike.
