Prof. James Moffatt, D.D., D.Litt., Introductory Talk to 'Tales from the Old Testament'

This Talk introduces a series of tales from the Old Testament that will be given on Sunday afternoons every week from next Sunday until after Easter. They will deal with well-known episodes in the lives of such great Biblical figures as Abraham, Jacob, and Joseph, winding up with the story of Gideon from the Book of Judges. The Rev. James Moffatt, who gives this introductory Talk, is Professor of Church History at the United Free Church College, Glasgow. He is well known as a translator and editor of the Old and New Testaments.
