The fifth of 13 programmes from the 1996 season at London's Royal Albert Hall is another chance to hear Barry Tuckwell's farewell London appearance. He is joined by the Philharmonia for a Mozart horn concerto and a lyrical and exciting new work by Oliver Knussen. The orchestra also performs three 20th-century classics by Stravinsky, Debussy and Sibelius.
