To the Mountain Top

on BBC Radio 4 FM

Last summer Margaret Percy joined a group of over 100 British and Indian schoolchildren on a two-month journey up the western Himalayas.
They went on to map new territory, collect new wildlife specimens, meet remote mountain nomads, and scale a peak of 20.000 feet - before returning to Delhi to congratulations from Rajiv Gandhi.
