Ferry to Hong Kong

Starring Curt Jurgens, Orson Welles

A waterfront layabout, Austrian Mark Conrad is forced from Hong Kong on to the ferry to Macao. Then, much to the pompous captain's disgust, Macao also refuses to let Conrad ashore - leaving him a permanent passenger on board the vessel. However, when a series of disasters strikes the boat, including a typhoon, Conrad shows his true worth.
