Plague of Hearts

on BBC One London

with Dr Michael O'Donnell Fighting Back
If present trends continue,
Britain will soon be the world leader in deaths from coronary heart disease. The
'plague' will be more virulent here because other countries have started to fight back. In the last of this series, Michael O'Donnell investigates some of the major campaigns being fought in the United States. If Britain achieved the same reduction in heart disease, 40,000 lives a year would be saved.
