Guns and Rosaries. Fr Plock , shot through the leg by two youths, is lying in a Brooklyn hospital. Nuns living in fear of such attacks carry 'muggers money' in the hope of appeasing would-be assailants.
Because several areas are now said to resemble war zones, some New York clergymen are claiming the right to carry arms, while other Christians want to reclaim the streets through their non-violent presence.
