Anna Neagle gives one of her most memorable performances as Odette Churchill, the World War II resistance leader who returned to her native France to obtain valuable secret information' from the Germans. Her subsequent capture led to torture at the hands of the Gestapo in which she displayed outstanding courage. Herbert Wilcox directed this true and intensely moving story.
