6: The New Cook
Shirley, who is cook at the Glacier Hut, is suffering from a badly burnt arm, so Ted telephones for temporary help. The next day ' Baldy' appears, and his arrival heralds a chapter of accidents.
The action takes place in and around the guides' hut 4,000 feet up in the Southern Alps of New Zealand.
