A programme on the harnessing of the Nile Waters
The populations of the Nile Valley are expanding fast. The projected Aswan High Dam in Egypt is- only one of a complex of engineering projects along the Nile and its tributaries designed to satisfy the increasing demands for water and power. The speakers consider the different needs of the chief countries concerned-Egypt, the Sudan, and the East African territories.
