Last year, Maria Sharapova became the youngest female to lift the coveted Venus Rosewater Dish since Martina Hingis in - and if the 17-year-old Russian was nervous making her Grand Slam final debut against top seed Serena Williams , it didn't show. Sharapova quickly took the first set and, despite a break of serve in the second, broke back with stunning play that had even her opponent applauding.
