A Comedy for the diversion of Anglers by JOHN GOUGH
Cast :
Assisted by THE MALE VOICES of THE
SCOTTISH WIRELESS SINGERS
Conductor, IAN WHYTE
Produced by GORDON GILDARD
(From Edinburgh)
THE ACTION of this play takes place by a Highland river where the salmon runs. The play is meant for anglers mainly, but it well may happen that the appeal may be more general than that. It deals with the argument between two friends as to who possesses an old and valuable salmon fly, the subsequent loss of the fly, ignorantly used for fishing, and the wrangling which leads to its recovery
