Clint Eastwood in The Eiger Sanction

on BBC One London

with George Kennedy
'This is definitely my last assignment.'
These are the words of former hired assassin Jonathan Hemlock, called out of peaceful 'retirement' by his former boss. His mission is to kill one man, the fee 40,000 dollars. There's one extra complication: the 'sanction' will take place during a climb on the notorious north face of the Eiger mountain.... Eastwood is both star and director of the second film in this season featuring the Hollywood superstar.
