Fulton and Fickling traced her to a cafe where she was working as a waitress. She admitted the Irishman was the cause of the trouble and revealed that he was her father. Tony told Alec that his club had lost its licence and been closed. Alec suggested he joined him, working with Ransome. Alec helped Dr. Dale to buy a new car.
