Looking forward to a family reunion, Junior Bonner-arrives in Ais home town of Prescott, Arizona, on the eve of the annual rodeo in which he is to compete. But he finds land developers on the site where his hfotne once stood, his father in hospital after a drunken scrape, and his mother resigned to the inevitable.
In this Western with a modern setting Steve McQueen takes to the saddle on a particularly wild bull-an animal everyone else tries to avoid.
