Every parent's nightmare came true for Debbie and Jamie Stephens. Their second child Alexander, healthy and well during pregnancy, was severely damaged at birth and Debbie's uterus was ruptured during the emergency. There is a lifetime of exhaustion and devoted care ahead of the family and Alexander, just 3, who cannot walk or talk. Now his parents are fighting the hospital for the compensation they need to help them care for Alexander. They want also to ensure that other parents don't go through the same disastrous experience.
