A Service of Holy Communion

on BBC One London

from St. Bede's Church for the Deaf, Clapham
Introduction by Bill Northwood

Each year on 'deaf Sunday' a service for deaf viewers is televised. Such a service contains no music, and although the two Chaplains to the Royal Association in aid of the Deaf and Dumb use signs and gestures, they also speak throughout, and so hearing viewers equally may join in.
